The contemporary remodel to Billings Health and Rehabilitation Center includes a rewly renovated commons dining, restroom, and lounge areas. New lighting and ceiling upgrades at the front entry created a new lounge space. Adjacent to the common spaces residents can also enjoy the ice cream parlor /gift shop. Highlighted in the architectural design elements are ashlar patterned limestone that draw a connection to the fireplace and dining entry columns. Lighting in the dining room and lounge areas were enhanced by floating soffits creating the illusion of a higher ceiling plan in an otherwise low-ceiling space.
